Srinagar, Apr 08: All Party Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) chairman and senior political leader Jagmohan Singh Raina on Wednesday welcomed the ceasefire between the US and Iran, calling it a positive development for global peace.
Reacting to the situation, Raina said that any escalation in war would have had a serious impact on regions like Kashmir, particularly in terms of rising prices and shortages of petroleum products. Srinagar.
Following the recent ceasefire developments between the US and Iran, there was no major impact observed on daily life in Kashmir.
Petrol pumps and gas agencies across the Valley functioned normally today, with no unusual rush or panic buying reported. Consumers were seen purchasing fuel and LPG as usual, indicating a sense of calm and stability among the public.
He emphasized that prolonged conflict could disrupt essential supplies and burden the common people.
He further stated that “war is not a solution” and stressed the need for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve international conflicts. Raina also expressed hope that peace will prevail and prayed for stability across the world.
